Can I Have a Fire? 

Where will you be Burning?

  • Outside the City Limits follow the County Burn regulations below.
  • Inside the City Limits contact the Fire Chief for a Burn Permit. Burn Permts are free but required by City of White Salmon regulations.   

Be aware that burn bans will be in effect during the dry spring and summer months.

When the burn bans are not in effect;

  • KEEP FIRES TO 4FT BY 4FT,
  • YARD DEBRIS ONLY (NO CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS OR GARBAGE),
  • NEVER LEAVE YOUR FIRE UNATTENDED.
  • HAVE TOOLS AND WATER ON HAND TO EXTINGUISH FIRE AT ANY TIME.
  •  BURN BARRELS ARE ILLEGAL IN WASHINGTON STATE

 

 

Announcement: Burn ban lifted on October 23rd, allows yard debris only, cautions against burning when windy.
