Regional Fire Authority Pro and Con Committees.
Klickitat County Fire Protection District No. 3 and the City of White Salmon anticipate adopting a Joint Resolution providing for the submission to the voters on August 1, 2023, a proposition authorizing the formation of the West Klickitat Regional Fire Authority which will operate pursuant to a plan approved by the Fire District and the City. Both the Fire District and the City are accepting names of people interested in participating in voter pamphlet statement pro and con committees. Statements must be made by May 12, 2023.
Citizens interested in participating, please contact the Klickitat County Fire District Office by 5pm April 27, 2023.
